Summary:

The Salesforce Technical Architect will play a pivotal role in our CRM initiatives, ensuring that our Salesforce solutions and development processes are optimally designed, implemented, and scaled to meet the evolving needs of our business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and build end-to-end Salesforce solutions using best practices and methodologies, working both solo and with a team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
  • Evaluate and incorporate new Salesforce features and functionalities.
  • Lead technical design sessions, architecting and documenting technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and flexibility of Salesforce implementations.
  • Assist with Salesforce support to resolve technical issues

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years Salesforce experience designing scalable and flexible solutions for large companies
  • Salesforce Administrator and Architect certifications highly desirable
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, APIs, and development tools.
  • Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to lead meetings with both IT and business users.
  • Experience with integrations between Salesforce and other business systems (SAP, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD/DevOps development methodologies and processes

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
