Position Charter - Lead Supply Chain Business Analyst

This position will identify, lead, and execute daily, weekly, monthly Supply Chain KPIs. This position will also be responsible for gathering and interpreting a collection of company data to generate reports, and monitor performance to improve efficiencies and drive improvement efforts. Strong analytical skills and experience with supply chain strategy and concepts will help to ensure candidate success in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting & analysis
  • Define and measure KPI reporting metrics on current and new initiatives and identify performance gaps based on these metrics.
  • Ensure customer fill rate expectations are met while maintaining inventory levels & turns.
  • Act as liaison between the Data Analytics Team and Business Units
  • Facilitate unique data analyses to support key projects
  • Lead with data mining, testing and measurement of supply chain analytics as needed.
  • Detect and resolve issues that may result in supply disruptions.
  • Prepare, report, and communicate inventory metrics. Analyze and measure their impact.
  • Ensure process documentation is created, maintained and shared
  • Promote understanding, communication and coordination of all program components and functional groups.
  • Positions with increasing responsibility may include a direct supervisory role and or development of tools to drive improvement within the supply chain.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required. 3-5 years related experience. APICS certification a plus.
  • Background in master scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planning a plus
  • Knowledge of demand planning process. Experience using SAP/APO or SAP/SNP or other ERP statistical software packages a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills - ability to identify issues, develop solutions, drive resolution from large data sets
  • Understanding and utilization of Azure based data warehouse structures
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Team building skills.
  • Detail oriented with emphasis on accuracy
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications; strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics, turns, margin contributions, etc. a plus
  • Collaborative skills in resolving long and short data projects

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, PowerBI
  • Proficient in SQL and Python
  • Alteryx and Power Automate knowledge a plus
  • MRP Experience
