This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Controller - REMOTE. In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of driving financial strategy and operational excellence within the global supply chain function. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in managing financial reporting, controlling, and analysis, ensuring that our partner's supply chain operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with overarching business goals. Working with diverse teams and functions, you will foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, contributing to a more connected and sustainable world.

Accountabilities

  • Drive effective inventory management strategies and modeling to support global revenue and cost targets.
  • Lead Days on Hand (DOH) management across global supply chain ensuring business unit targets are met.
  • Collaborate with FP&A on Capital Variance modeling and impact analysis.
  • Lead global freight cost and burden recovery forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and evaluate incoterms to determine cost-effective strategies for global operations.
  • Lead the Upstream Freight Optimization project in partnership with global supply chain.
  • Partner with Corporate Global Logistics to drive cost controls and forecast accuracy.
  • Lead global allocation forecasts across multiple distribution centers.
  • Own the financial controlling of customer fulfillment centers.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective strategies.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Finance-related function.
  • Experience in a global business environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation using tools like Excel; experience with SAP is essential.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-driven.
  • Curiosity and a bias towards continuous improvement.
  • Minimal travel required (less than 10%).
