Job Description

ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking fora Lead Supply Technician.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Perform aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization, training facilitation) related to the Physical Techniques requirements/activities.
• Supervise employees assigned to Physical Techniques Department by assigning tasks and support functions to include uniform and equipment issue, training equipment material set up and delivery; cleaning and sanitizing tasks for equipment; washing and sewing/repair function and operation of customer support activities.
• Supervise the Aquatics Center and manage the recreational program.
• Streamline and analyze government agency training facilitation reports for accuracy and coordinates with program specialist and training administrators for resolve. Provide inputs through designated contract officials daily when necessary.
• Prepare reports, analyze inventory data identifying re-order points and shortages; able to report information in a professional manner to the customer.
• Supervise and schedule personnel and activities to meet operational training agendas in accordance with contractual requirements. Ensure staff is complying with tasks assigned.
• May be required to work evenings and/or weekends on an as needed basis.
• Analyze government activities and facility reports daily

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of government logistics management experience
• Minimum of 3 years direct supervisory experience of 10 employees or more
• 2-year Associates Degree or High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong knowledge, understanding and experience with computer software to include Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Must possess and consistently demonstrate professional customer service skills to interface with the customer daily.
• A good working knowledge of industry/government standards for supply systems, programs, policies, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines of inventory management.
• Must understand organizational requirements to properly facilitate customer requests, training requirements and personnel.
• Must possess analytical ability to collect the necessary data to recommend actions based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines while accounting and distributing, training uniforms and equipment.
• Must be able to effectively communicate information both internally and externally (verbal/email correspondence).
• Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must possess or be able to acquire a Certified Pool Operator certification
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a drug and physical exam
