RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direction of our Schedule and Dispatch Program Manager, the Lead System Administrator for SEDU will be critical for maintaining Johnson Controls' service scheduling and dispatch application. This role will focus on the platforms foundational and advanced configurations for dispatch route plans and various optimization initiatives, ongoing application maintenance, ensuring the integrity of skills, certifications, and clearances of thousands of service technicians, and supporting continuing software testing and releases.

KEY DUTIES:

• Help develop systems/procedures for managing technician profiles with individual skills, certifications, and local knowledge, for all service technicians across the BSNA Fire domain.
• Create and maintain service routing plans for the Fire business, actively using the feature.
• Maintain user access and appropriate levels of visibility based on legal and compliance policies.
• Consult with centralized teams, Service Managers, and branch office personnel to optimize technician routing for efficient workflow.
• Log, triage, and resolve root causes for any service or application disruptions.
• Partners with IT and technical teams to ensure seamless application and mobility platform updates through UAT coordination and post-deployment test validation.
• Conduct analysis, configuration, and testing to ensure continuous improvement and optimization of our business logic of Service Schedule & Dispatch applications.
• Analyze data, identify impact variables, and plan the best action to create optimum efficiency in Optymus routing plans.
• Participate in design/configuration for integrating new applications and technologies into the existing systems (OFSC).
• Analyze Knowledge Base and problem code table, ensuring response time accuracy and job durations.
• Work with IT and leadership to prioritize work and establish timeline commitments for new releases.
• Perform systematic predictive analysis of application optimization failures and make recommendations to the field to maximize system performance.
• Maintain work zones and skillsets by negotiating with all lines of business.
• Develop, execute, and maintain a route optimization script to ensure technician efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years experience as a system administrator or equivalent working knowledge of routing optimization applications and tools.

OR

• 5+ years of business experience within a Service organization.
• Champion the continuous improvement mindset and be a change agent.
• Think strategically and remain focused on the mission, ignoring non value-added distractions
• Listen and capture core business requirements associated to program initiatives
• Translate, document, and communicate business requirements to technical developers
• Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and dynamic environment, dedication to teamwork, a strong work initiative, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
• Experience communicating clearly and concisely to multiple types of audiences and channels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, OneNote, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SharePoint).
• Experience in effectively supporting change within a team, function or area.
• Agility and easily adaptable to change
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes.
