Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

System Architect (d/f/m)

The new position will support and contribute to our national and international projects in the area of ISR and Air Defence and collaborate with Portfolio, Program and Engineering departments.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Close collaboration with Program entities / Bid teams / Portfolio and Product managers and other egineering departments to

• define and agree the technical solutions and reference architectures in compliance with customer needs/requirements

• Performing trade-off analysis in order to select the best solution fulfilling the requirements, supporting Make/Buy/Reuse decisions, preparation and/or Assessment and evaluation of concept solutions, documentation and reports

• Ensuring the Solution technical consistency in coordination with all engineering contributors, mainly product and software architects, and Portfolio management

• Definition and design of architectures, applying model based system engineering tools and principles, and ensuring reuse of existing assets

• Definition, description and alignment of requirements between stakeholders

Desired skills and qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Engineering degree in Information Technology / Computing Science or equivalent

• More than five years of experience in SW engineering, system concept design and analysis and system engineering processes and tools in the domain of BMC4ISR

• Good knowledge of cloud based technologies and Real-time Infrastructures

• Good knowledge in (technical) project management

• You have excellent communications skills and have a team-minded attitude
