Lead Systems Legal Analyst

The Lead Systems Legal Analyst oversees the installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's operating systems within the Legal IT area. This role will Coordinate with IT technical partners such as SSO, Windows and Linux admins, Networking and AD group to support execution and objectives of Legal technical priorities. The position will provide technical expertise supporting Document, Matter & Billing and E-Discovery platforms, also leading vendor discussions and help drive the automation of business processes. This person will also utilize Cloud server and desktop technologies supporting the Legal line of business.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide support of business processes in Legal Technology and the platforms.
• Support technical Document, Matter & Billing and E-Discovery platforms.
• Lead vendor discussions and help drive the automation of business process.
• Produce technical design documents, representing Legal IT area in project assessments and approvals.
• Partner with lawyers, administrators and back offices to understand legal process and drive automation.
• Approves technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
• Evaluates all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience Required

Work Experience

• 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with Legal Applications in Matter Management, Document Management and E-Discovery applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interpret written business requirements, functional requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop technical solutions that meet business needs
• Execute changes and adhere to TIAA SDLC and change management practices.
• Coordinate with IT technical partners such as SSO, Windows and Linux admins, Networking and AD group to support execution and objectives of Legal technical priorities.
• Perform complex defect verification, debugging, testing and support as necessary during development and post development activities.

Base Pay Range: $120,690/yr. - $165,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
