Job Description:

Responsibilities: Must have strong skills and knowledge with the selection of appropriate data visualizations strategies (e.g. chart types) for specific use cases.

Ability to showcase complete implementation that demonstrates visual best-practices (e.g. color themes, visualization layout, interactivity, drill-down capabilities, filtering etc.)

Experience with the preparation of data for visualizations (e.g. data profiling, data cleansing, volume assessment, partitioning, modeling data etc.)

Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic and agile development lifecycle

Experience creating joins, custom SQL & blending data from different data sources using Tableau Desktop and Tweaking SQL Queries for best performance.

Proven knowledge of working with various Tableau Desktop functionalities & capabilities (Filters, Hierarchies, Sorting, Sets, Parameters, Custom Groups, Creating Story, Mapping, Custom Geocoding etc.)

Experience using advanced calculations using Tableau Desktop (Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table, LOD Expressions)

Experience creating different visualizations using Lines, Pies, Pareto, Histograms, Box Plots, Maps, Scatter, Gantts, Bubbles, Bullets, Heat Maps, Waterfall, Treemaps etc.

Experience working with Relational (e.g. Oracle)

Required Skills: Must have at least 8+ years of experience in information technology and at least 6+ years in business intelligence with strong focus on data visualization

Tableau 9.x/10.1/2018.x/2019.x/2020.x,

Should have extensively worked on various Tableau functionalities like Tableau Extracts, Live, Parameters, Filters, Context Filters, Data Source Filters, Actions, Functions, Trends, Hierarchies, Sets, Groups, Data Blending, and Maps

Hands-on experience in creating solution driven dashboards by developing different chart types including Crosstab, Heat/Geo/Tree Maps, Pie/Bar Charts, Circle Views, Line/Area Charts, Scatter Plots, Bullet Graphs, Histograms and Custom Graphs in Tableau Desktop.

Experience in connecting different data sources like SQL, Oracle, snowflake, Hive, Alteryx, Amazon Redshift, Flat files & Excel files for loading data into tableau desktop for creating visual reports will be an added advantage

Preference will be given to those with Experience in connecting different data sources like SQL, Oracle, snowflake, Hive, Alteryx, Amazon Redshift, Flat files & Excel files for loading data into tableau desktop for creating visual reports.

Hands on experience in implementing load balancing techniques, backups, restores, disaster recovery of servers, , via using TSM, Tabadmin, Tabcmd.

Nice to have skills: Domain knowledge in Finance / Liquidity reporting is an added advantage
