Job Description Summary: The Lead Talent Acquisition Partner is accountable for supporting Green Plains Inc. talent acquisition programs related to talent identification, attraction, acquisition, selection, joining and retention of defined hard-to-fill positions. The Lead Talent Acquisition Partner will play a strong role in executing the defined talent acquisition programs and strategies throughout all departments and entities. They must be a relationship builder with the ability to strengthen the current talent acquisition strategy by working closely with hiring managers to meet the current and future talent needs. The Lead Talent Acquisition Partner needs to be an analytical problem-solver, digging into the current systems to build recruitment dashboards and metrics for leadership. They should also uncover inefficiencies to improve while bringing fresh new ideas for process improvements as well as creative ways to engage with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute full Talent Acquisition life-cycle strategy and plans
- Recruit talent by utilizing current market intelligence and innovative recruitment techniques
to identify and attract qualified candidates that will enhance the company's culture and productivity
- Manage, report, and track recruitment metrics such as: cycle time, cost per hire, system efficiencies, etc.
- Establish key sourcing strategies related to social media, military, colleges, diversity and inclusion, and professional organizations
- Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with senior leadership to confirm desired outcomes are achieved
- Develop and foster relationships as a talent strategist in partnership with leadership; identify business challenges, recommendations, implements and measures innovative talent solutions
- Partner with and provide guidance to colleagues and hiring managers throughout the talent acquisition process which may include training and support
- Develop and maintain recruitment standardized operating procedures (SOP) for administrative processes
- Analyze, evaluate, and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide workforce strategy solutions to increase retention and employee engagement
- Partner with communications team to market opportunities and create brand recognition
- Track and measure recruiting metrics; provide regular reporting on performance hiring outcomes of the organization
- Create offer letters, maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting reports, and other staffing administration functions as needed
- Represent the company at recruiting events, providing company/job information
- Lead and mentor members of HR team on recruitment best practices
- Actively participate and comply with Company ESG, DE&I and other strategic initiatives
- Provide relevant updates and ad hoc reports to the Director Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, or other HR functions
- Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable state and federal labor laws, regulatory requirements, and other guidelines; including but not limited to: Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Civil Rights Act (Title VII), and any state equivalents. Accept other work-related responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field
- Industry experience preferred
- 7+ years recruitment experience
- Experience with sourcing, engaging, and activating passive candidates
- Knowledge of job posting sites and professional social media platforms
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Aptitude to maintain highly confidential information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with urgency and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills
- Process driven and proven ability to navigate ambiguity and solve challenging problems
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job includes but is not limited to: frequent sitting, computer use, and telephone use
- Valid driver's license required.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Includes but is not limited to: frequent sitting, computer use, and telephone use, some lifting or moving up to 30 lbs
- Travel up to 10%
