Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, at least 4 years of experience in talent acquisition and/or Talent Management, and the ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills as you will often be asked to work closely with others across different departments. This role will be an important member of both Local HR (Human Resources) and our Global Talent Teams and will work to achieve the local advancements in Talent Acquisition and Retention.

Overview of the role:
- Input with direction from Global Talent into the overall hiring strategy of the organization to ensure our teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals.
- Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build local pipelines of potential applicants.
- Ensure an end-to-end positive hiring process.
- Form close relationships with local partners who can help advance our diverse candidate pipelines.
- Lead US Utilities and US Generation College Recruiting programs, which includes activities around Attraction, Recruiting, defining Rotations and Mentoring the entry level employees coming in via these programs:

- Establish partnerships and/or strategic alliances to expand awareness of employer brand and widen the talent pool; may include university partnerships, industry/trade associations, third party recruiters, community partners, affinity groups, etc.
- Lead University Fairs within the region, working with leaders to engage in on-campus activities.
- Partner with headcount/workforce planning & HRBPs (HR Business Partner) to anticipate future hiring needs, and develop targeted recruiting strategies, which include proactively sourcing for talent.
- Liaison with recruiting team - provide market intelligence that will support an assertive and agile hiring process.
- Keeper of talent brokering details (i.e., helping ensure succession planning is happening - "what's my next" / suggest developmental rotations).
- Monitor turnover trends and analyze Exit Interview data to generate quality insights into our Talent processes.
