Job Description
Job Title: Lead Teacher Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment for children. As a Lead Teacher, you will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to foster the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young learners. Duties: - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Montessori philosophy - Provide a safe and supportive environment conducive to learning - Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members - Conduct assessments to track children's progress and development - Implement effective classroom management strategies - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational program - Support children with autism spectrum disorder and other special needs - Organize and maintain a clean and organized classroom environment - Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required) - Montessori certification (preferred) - Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting - Knowledge of child development principles and curriculum development - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities - Prior experience working with toddlers is a plus Join our team as a Lead Teacher and make a difference in the lives of young learners.
