Lead Teacher Job Description Responsibilities: - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum guidelines - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children - Supervise and engage children in educational activities, including math, physical education, and tutoring - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment - Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and academic performance Skills: - Strong knowledge and passion for teaching math and other subjects - Experience working in a daycare or educational setting - Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children of different ages and backgrounds - Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and materials - Knowledge of child welfare regulations and best practices We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
