Job Description

Responsible for leading, planning, managing, and directing team members to accomplish the objectives of a project. Coordinate schedules and assigns project tasks to ensure on-time completion. Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with functional areas inside and outside of IT. Review, evaluate, and formulate project plans, schedules, and budgets. Direct resources at all levels to achieve project objectives and review the work of others to ensure accuracy and completeness. Competent in all areas of project management. Receive general supervision from the Team Lead. Collaborate with technical (IT) application owners and business owners at all levels to create, maintain, administer, and adhere to systems and procedures that ensure the accuracy and integrity of Application Portfolio information.

2. Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with functional areas inside and outside of IT.
3. Review, evaluate, and formulate project plans, schedules, and budgets. Direct resources at all levels to achieve project objectives and review the work of others to ensure accuracy and completeness.
4. Competent in all areas of project management. Receive general supervision from the Team Lead.
5. Collaborate with technical (IT) application owners and business owners at all levels to create, maintain, administer, and adhere to systems and procedures that ensure the accuracy and integrity of Application Portfolio information.
6. May act as Project Manager for major initiatives and may supervise consultants and analysts.
7. Track, analyze, and recommends changes to processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and/or increase efficiency. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the group.
8. Assist with messaging and communications about departmental activities and applications/products, as needed.
Is a Subject Matter Expert with in-depth knowledge in their area of expertise and strong knowledge of other areas. Strong consultative and communication skills, superior analytical and organizational competencies, and the ability to work effectively with management and staff at all levels. Understanding of team leadership, business practices, and how to apply them for effective project management. Strong decision-making and a proven ability to drive projects forward for on-time completion.
Bachelor's degree in a technology- or project management-related discipline and at least four, typically six or more years of related experience as a project team member of which at least one year was in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
