Lead Technical Application Analyst
Job Description
The Lead Technical Application Analyst is a full-time staff position created to ensure that our application system is meeting the need of our customers. The role will focus on analysis, diagnosis, resolution of application errors and problems, working closely with client and stakeholders to ensure continuous improvements and application support.
Responsibilities:
- This person will work closely with stakeholders and demonstrate professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction.
- Triages issues and resolve or escalate to other teams as required.
- Track, triage and resolve reported defects and support client configuration questions
- Prepares and resolves escalated service SEN (Severe Event Notification) and SEV events.
- Take a role as the subject matter expert to review operational workflows of high degree of complexity and/or for multiple departments, identifying problems and developing improvements, modifications and enhancements.
- RepresentMHKby acting as a central point of contact for assigned customer(s)
- Build trusting relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of the customer's business processes and systems
- Effectively communicate CMS compliance changes as issued byMHKCompliance
- Coordinate configuration and/or code deployments as necessary
- Facilitate weekly client meetings, work through priority issues, and plan future initiatives
- Schedule and facilitate regular Steering Committee meetings
- Coordinate training of theMHKapplication
- Assist with the prioritization of initiatives by providing recommendations, documenting risks, and outlining mitigation strategies
- ReviewMHKenhancements with clients
- Coordinate the work of both support and development resources when required
- Collaborate to identify changes in scope in accordance with change control procedures
- Allocate, and approve resource bookings and manage time in time reporting system
- Collaborate to meet Service Level Agreements for assigned customers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of experience as a technically capable Application Analyst in the healthcare, healthcare insurance, or software industry
- Experience using ticketing systems (JIRA or other) and SQL is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve system and procedural issues.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate on technical concepts to other technical staff members and non-technical clients effectively.
- Experience with deployment processes for cloud-based apps and services
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry (Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial) and understanding of related compliance and quality aspects
- Self-starter, with strong sense of ownership, assertive follow-through, and a passion for the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Proficient technical understanding: ability to demonstrate knowledge of software development life cycle, application design, integration, and hosting technologies
