This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Technical Consultant - REMOTE. In this role, you will be a technical thought leader for our partners and clients, guiding them through digital transformation and the intricacies of platform engineering. Your expertise will facilitate the design and implementation of innovative solutions that meet their business objectives. You'll work collaboratively within a consulting team, contributing to the development of client-driven strategies while also mentoring other engineers. This role not only demands strong leadership skills but also a deep technical proficiency across various domains that will position our clients for success in their transitions to modern applications.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and at the highest quality standards while exceeding client expectations.
  • Design and implement complex, mission-critical transformational technical solutions for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, driving business growth and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Develop high-quality deliverables, including technical and non-technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients to address their technical challenges with tailored solutions.
  • Create and present solution designs and innovations to clients’ leadership teams.
  • Develop and maintain Technical Roadmaps and Innovation Plans.
  • Implement CI/CD solutions for efficient project delivery.
  • Establish project estimates, identify risks, and manage the delivery of technical solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years focused on Cloud, DevOps, Automation, and Digital Transformation.
  • Strong consulting and business acumen with the ability to engage rapidly with clients.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud services including Compute, Storage, Networking.
  • Multiple certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Pro, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • Programming experience in languages like Java or Python.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of modern cloud-native application design principles.
  • Familiarity with deployment services like Jenkins and GitHub.
  • Experience with driving organizational adoption of transformational initiatives.
