What we do:

The Lead Test Data Operations Engineer is responsible for the development and technical oversight of Supernal’s test data management system and associated analysis tools. This position provides technical guidance and mentoring other engineers in the design and implementation of unique data systems used to support all aspects of ground and flight testing. This position works alongside Test & Evaluation, Engineering, R&D, and IT to drive the development and implementation of the toolsets needed to ensure test data integrity through all lifecycles of Supernal’s test programs.

What you can do:
  • Lead the development and implementation of a Test & Evaluation data system to implement test data post processing, archival, and analysis
  • Establish process and procedures for ground based and airborne telemetry systems, flight test control room, data processing, analysis, and storage
  • Lead the efforts to procure hardware to support group functions
  • Own execution and completion of multiple projects in parallel
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians
  • Other duties as assigned
What you can contribute:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • A minimum of ten (10)years’ experience in the development and implementation of Test & Evaluation data system (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • Experience in architecting and implementation of data infrastructure
  • Experience in development of software tools to perform analysis of test data sets
  • Proven knowledge of data processing and storage methods and systems
  • Knowledge of test methods and lab procedures
  • Knowledge of Mil Standards, Digital Busses architecture (ARINC, 1553)
  • Strong digital literacy especially with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
  • Self-motivated and forward-thinking personality
You may also be able to contribute:
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience with electric propulsion air or ground vehicles preferred
  • Experience with experimental fight test preferred
  • Experience using relational data base with some programming skills, SQL, VB, C++, .NET preferred

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.

The pay range for this position is:
$192,400—$289,120 USD
