Lead Vue.js Front-end Developer

Job Description

Distributed Solutions, Inc. (DSI) is a fast-growing company seeking a highly motivated Lead Vue.js Front-end Developer to build and implement functional software solutions that thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, including the ability to engage in open and animated peer review sessions, able to change direction quickly, and an eagerness to learn new technologies.

All DSI development staff experience full exposure to application lifecycle management (ALM), which affords our employees the opportunity to learn and work across many functional areas, including UI/UX, business layer, database design, application architecture, etc. 'The position is offered in Reston, Va. or Remotely".

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a Vue.js front-end implementation for a high-priority web application.
• Play an active role in reviewing and collaborating on architectural design for the scalable n-tier web application.
• Work closely with backend developers to establish seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Implement and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability of the application.
• Oversee small development team and collaborate with stakeholders.

Experience and Skills

• Proven Vue.js experience with a strong portfolio of web applications.
• API integration skills and a good understanding of RESTful principles (preference to MS Web API experience).
• Familiarity with web n-tier architecture.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with version control - Git.
• Leadership experience, problem-solving skills, and effective communication.
• Familiarity with other frameworks, backend technologies, and Agile methodologies.
• Any education in a related field.
