Team Introduction
The Global Security Organization provides industry-leading cybersecurity and business protection services to TikTok globally. Our organization employs four principles that guide our strategic and tactical operations. Security Tools Operations and Validation team's responsibilities include designing and implementing IT security solutions that address the organization's needs, assessing risks and vulnerabilities, and developing strategies to mitigate them, validation of security technical controls.

The role will be responsible for architecture design and optimization, red team validation, metric operation for TikTok Secure SDLC. This role will use his solid experience in cybersecurity and architecture to implement the deep cyber defense technology for TikTok. Finding and fixing current GAPs in Secure SDLC is another important role. This role needs to be sharp about GAPs in current Secure SDLC, leading a team to find the GAPs on coverage, MTTD/MTTR etc. This role will lead the team to push cross functional teams fixing issues of Secure SDLC. This role will lead cross functional teams to implement best practice of Secure SDLC in the company. This role will be responsible for TikTok's maturity in Secure SDLC domain.

Responsibilities
- Threat modeling for TikTok
- Design and implement Secure SDLC's best practice in TikTok
- Validation of Secure SDLC security controls
- Leading Secure SDLC operation on metrics, optimization, incident response etc, driving metric improvement. In charge of Secure SDLC's maturity measurement, and status reporting
- Define and enforce secure architecture standards and patterns to prevent common security issues, pushing implementation in product and developers
- Being the overall stakeholder of TikTok Secure SDLC, responsible for fixing the gaps in Secure SDLC, including insufficient tech abilities, insufficient resources, unreasonable processes etc.
- Embrace new technology to increase Secure SDLC's efficiency, like AI related tech
- Being the team lead, developing the team, coaching the team members
- Building senior management awareness of Secure SDLC status

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's (master's preferred) degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is usually required.
2. Strong understanding of Secure SDLC with best practice in industry
3. Strong data analysis ability, can use vulnerability data to find out potential risk trends. Sensitive to the abnormal in data
4. Strong experience in Cybersecurity technologies, including penetration tests, security assessment, familiar with SAST, DAST, SCA security tools etc

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Deep understanding of security architecture, having successful experience of implementing end to end security architecture.
2. Solid knowledge about modern internet company architecture and development stack
3. Having experience to threat modeling of complicated business
4. Excellent team-working skills are needed. Previous successful working experience through different time zones is a plus. .
