Job Description

Full-Time, Exempt
This is a brand-new position within MVP's Operations department aligned with MVP's values that delivering a best-in-class experience for our customers requires us to challenge the status quo and encourage others to do the same.
The Leader for Business Technology will oversee the advancement of MVP's technical assets across the organization. Managing a team of business technologists, the Leader will interact with departments across the enterprise to assess, plan, execute and monitor changes that drive greater efficiency and effectiveness throughout MVP. The Leader, Business Technology will chair an interdepartmental group of efficiency experts and will be accountable for the advancement of the business vision, one year and three-year plans. This Leader will own the development, prioritization, advancement, budgeting and monitoring of a business efficiency scorecard that drives continuous improvement across the enterprise.
The role includes, but is not limited to the following activities:
- Manage a team of business technologists that drive system efficiencies and effectiveness throughout the organization
- Lead an interdisciplinary and inter-departmental team of business experts to create and manage an efficiency roadmap that aligns with enterprise goals
- Accountable for an efficiency scorecard that continuously advances business efficiencies
- Interacts with departments across the company to plan and execute business efficiency exercises, responsible for the reporting, budgeting and return on investment/value assessments
- Collaborates on efficiency execution plans with sensitivity to varying departmental stages of development/maturity
- Teaches about available technologies across the organization that advances the understanding of possibilities that advances business efficiencies
- Uses every aspect of the MVP Way in day-to-day work
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in technical job experience. Master's Degree preferred
Minimum Experience:
5+ years' business/system management background. Experience gathering and facilitating
requirements & design sessions. Experience supporting complex system changes and new
requirements, including system and ROI analysis. Successful results of implementing system and process changes that drive organizational efficiencies. Prior supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
Desirable Experience:
Knowledge of various CAPS, ERP, and practice management systems, technology related to automation and robotic processing
Understanding of healthcare insurance industry
LEAN and Agile methodology training and/or certifications

- Successfully develop managed employees with leading by example, coaching and mentoring, results with their increased performance, advancement
- Flexibility and adaptable personality to handle shifting needs, evolving priorities and urgent situations that arise

- Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly

- Ability to formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written presentations
