Leadership Development Political Education Asst

Summary: The AIPAC Leadership Development Department is a unique, mission-driven team focused on engaging college students throughout the country to assist in achieving AIPAC's goals. The Leadership Development Political Education Assistant is a temporary position that works closely with the Leadership Development Political Education Manager to coordinate national campaign efforts and pro-Israel political activism for college students. This role will also assist the greater Leadership Development team in team operations, including but not limited to coordinating with our travel agent, Direct Travel, liaising with our events team, and managing our database. The length of employment is anticipated to go through December 31, 2024.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with Leadership Development Political Education Manager to execute AIPAC on Campus's political strategy in the 2024 election cycle.
• Work with Leadership Development Political Education Manager to regularly report on accomplishments to department leadership, regional colleagues, and other stakeholders regarding the 2024 election cycle.
• Maintain knowledge of congressional races to manage databases and update information systems on congressional candidates and other race-related data.
• Track and analyze relevant campaign activity in coordination with the Political Department.
• Work with Direct Travel and our events team to coordinate event operations for Campaign Training Institutes.
• Other departmental responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

• A bachelor's degree or commensurate experience is preferred.
• 1-3 years of campaign or political experience preferred.
• A strong commitment to the US-Israel relationship
• Familiarity with American legislative and electoral politics
• Strong writing capabilities
• Strong analytical skills
• Superb time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Willingness to spend time traveling.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Flexible, problem-solving attitude
• Excellent public speaking ability
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; carefully proofs own work.
• Good computer research skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
