Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lead/Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 5-10 years of experience to drive quality assurance for cutting-edge AI, ML, and data-driven software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and scalability of our AI/ML models, data pipelines, and APIs. You will play a key role in validating data quality and integrity, leveraging your expertise in data testing, SQL, Snowflake, and tools such as Python, Selenium, NumPy, Pandas and Teradata. Candidates with immediate availability are preferred.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead test automation efforts for AI/ML-driven projects, ensuring comprehensive coverage across data pipelines, models, and APIs.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and development teams to understand business requirements and ensure robust data validation and test coverage.
• Design and execute testing strategies with a focus on verifying the performance, accuracy, and scalability of AI/ML models and data solutions.
• Develop and implement automated test frameworks for both functional and performance testing, with a focus on data quality, model accuracy, and API reliability.
• Create and execute data validation tests across large datasets using SQL, Snowflake, and data analysis libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Contribute to manual regression testing efforts, executing manual test cases to verify functionality, identify defects, and ensure that new features do not introduce any bugs/issues in AI/ML models and data solutions.
• Ensure the integrity of API-based integrations by designing and running thorough API tests using tools like Postman, Swagger, and RestAssured.
• Work closely with data engineering teams to monitor and validate data pipelines in Snowflake and other databases, ensuring consistency and correctness.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the CI/CD pipeline, enabling automated testing and deployment of AI/ML models and data solutions.
• Analyze test results, identify patterns in data inconsistencies, document defects, and collaborate with development teams for efficient resolution.
• Advocate for test-driven development (TDD) and behaviour-driven development (BDD) in AI/ML and data projects.

Desired Profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5-10 years of hands-on experience in test automation, particularly in data-driven environments with AI/ML applications.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python, especially for test automation and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with data validation, especially using SQL and Snowflake.
• Strong expertise in web, API, and database testing with tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, RestAssured, JDBC, and Maven.
• Familiarity with AI/ML model testing, ensuring models meet expected accuracy and performance benchmarks.
• Experience with ETL processes and validating large datasets across complex data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools like Postman, Swagger, and RestAssured along with UNIX commands.
• Proficiency in CI/CD integration, version control systems like Git, Jenkins, and test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or QC/ALM.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and writing complex queries for data validation.
• Familiarity with web services (HTML, XML, SOAP, JSON, REST) and testing technologies like JUnit.
• Experience in performance testing for data-heavy applications.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on data integrity and model accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and product owners to ensure the quality and reliability of data-driven products.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical and data-driven concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-driven, adaptable to new tools and technologies, and eager to stay updated on AI/ML testing techniques.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in AI/ML model lifecycle management and testing, including testing model outputs and versioning.
• Healthcare domain expertise, particularly in the context of AI/ML applications and data-driven projects.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Background in the US healthcare industry, especially with AI-driven solutions.
