Job Description

The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Responsible for utilizing transactional lean and six sigma formal training to identify, analyze, manage, support, andfacilitate business process improvement activities designed to drive operational excellence and best practice inSafety, Quality, Training, and Productivity across the organization. This will include Field Operations and Service

Delivery, Billing Centers, Customer Call Centers, Shipping Warehouses, and Corporate support functions. Thepurpose of this position is to improve the real result of key performance indicators while actively influencing andmanaging multiple projects.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Support Lean Six Sigma culture across the enterprise
• Educate and coach new practitioners on projects
• Develop and execute on strategies for driving the business towards its objectives
• Substantially influence projects and peers to ensure successful outcomes
• Manage multiple projects and assignments from ideation to completion and beyond
• Measure project success through efficiency initiative tracking and reporting
• Operate as a subject matter expert in role for the team to consult
• Own defined process improvement initiatives
• Analyze workflows within and across departments to determine how the company can work better
• Perform time and motion studies, cycle time analysis, and identify process waste
• Develop and deliver training materials to support process changes
• Run self-directed improvement projects, delivering value to the organization
• Support business leaders with continuous analysis of our business processes, quantifying opportunities
• Build and deliver training materials to support standard processes

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution required
  • Engineering fieldpreferred

Work Experience

• Must have process engineer, project manager, qualityspecialist, or similar experience
• Preferred: 3 years of process engineer or relevant experience
• Formal experience implementing Lean and Six Sigma projects within atransactional environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Trained in Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques
• High level of math and statistical skills
• Must be able to effectively articulate change supported by data and sell change opportunities tomanagement and employees
• Must be proficient in Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
• Must have good interpersonal communication skills and be comfortable presenting to groups
• Must be able to travel 50% or more

Licenses and Certifications

• Black Belt certification Required
