Key Responsibilities
- Coach/ mentor Lean projects to raise the knowledge level of organization and foster alignment to key business priorities.
- Manage transformation efforts and support process improvement projects.
- Assist in the development of Lean focused training material and provide both classroom and on the job education to leaders and colleagues.
- Serve as an expert and role model in the application of the Lean Operating Model's principles and practices
- Work with stakeholders to build a mutual understanding of the organization's current business practices and processes
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement that align with the organization's business strategies and objectives, to increase efficiency, mitigate risks, and improve overall customer service effectiveness.
- Communicate process improvement activities, status updates and return on investment to all stakeholders.
- Monitor and action for overall health of organization against 5 focus areas: Mindset & Behavior, Organization & Skills, Voice of the Customer Performance Management, Process Efficiency & Effectiveness
- Provides recommendations in such areas as process or metric gaps within specific business units and support next steps to resolve. Also consulted about Lean tools and techniques such as Value Stream Mapping as well as develops and manages project plans related to process improvement projects in other parts of the NAM Organization.
Required experience & skills
- Lean Six Sigma certification or industry equivalent (preferred).
- Experience operating in a Lean process improvement environment
- Minimum of 5+ years' Logistics and Support experience
- Strong proficiency in Lean Transformation, Lean Implementation and change management
- Direct experience understanding stakeholder and customer requirements, and how to improve processes to best address those expectations.
- Experience in taking complex problems and tackling them with a methodical, Lean focused approach
- Experience with understanding return on investment
- Experience training others in principles of Lean Methodology.
- Solid team building, coaching, and facilitation skills
- Effective Written/Verbal Communication
- Proven Record in Building Strong Relationships & Networks
- Proven Record of Living Maersk Company Values

Salary Range: 83,800.00 - 120,000.00
