The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance, and improve organizational effectiveness, supporting the company’s strategic goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of learning and development principles and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business L&D teams to develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy and standards that align with the company’s business goals.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to design and develop effective learning solutions and high-impact learning experiences including e-learning modules, instructor-led training and job-aids, applying adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Deliver engaging training programs and workshops that enhance leadership, employee and team competencies and performance, engagement and organizational culture.
- Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), business L&D teams and business leaders to build customized solutions for the development of their teams.
- Provide coaching and support to people leaders to enhance their effectiveness and development.
- Partner with HRBPs and business L&D teams to integrate learning and development initiatives with overall business strategy.
- Lead the L&D Chapter to promote alignment across the different L&D teams in the organization.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programs, using data and feedback to make continuous improvements.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, promoting best practices and innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development, Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in learning and development.
- Strong understanding of learning and development theories, practices, and methodologies.
- Experience with instructional design, e-learning development, and learning management systems (LMS).
- Experience with change management, leadership development, and employee engagement programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and L&D tools and software.
