Internship Description:

The Learning & Development Intern is an individual contributor role that supports the Leadership Development team in logistics, scheduling, e-learning creation, data collection and analysis, and other duties as assigned. Contributing to the team's delivery of positive learner experience and achievement of development program goals enhance success in this role.

Internship Learning Objectives/Task Goals:

  • Receives direction and guidance from Leadership Development Advisors on program management priorities, department project goals, and companywide initiatives.
  • Liaises with Training for Learning Management System and eLearning distribution to employees.
  • Liaises with Communications and Marketing for proper branding and messaging consistency.
  • Assists in project work dealing with databases, spreadsheets, importing/exporting data, tracking, and reporting.
  • Reviews raw video footage for purposes of filing in central video repository.
  • Assists in the development of e-learning programs using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, and/or Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Ensures successful learner experiences by managing logistics, communication, completion, and follow-up.
  • Conducts and organizes research for program development, authoring tools, and other companywide initiatives to present to Leadership Development Advisors and other key stakeholders as requested.
  • Works closely with subject matter experts, vendor representatives, and other company representatives to develop and maintain project status, program agendas, scheduling, and calendaring.

Minimum Education/Skills/Experience/Credentials:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel; Office 365 experience.
  • Proficiency in using presentation software.
  • Knowledge of e-learning development programs in using authoring tools such as Canva, Articulate 360 Suite and Adobe Captivate preferred.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude; dependable, require minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
  • Robust assessment, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Completion of at least two years of university coursework is preferred.

This is a paid internship however, AH4R does not provide housing, relocation, or transportation assistance.
