General Summary

As our Learning & Development Manager, you will help Peaksware succeed by training and developing our people. You will help our employees and managers advance their skills and knowledge by leveraging our existing competency based performance review model, as well as creating and executing other learning strategies and programs. Additionally, you will stay abreast of DEI strategies and partner with our Leadership team and external consultants to assess and implement initiatives to drive this effort at Peaksware.

You will sit directly with the HR team and report to the Director, People Operations.

Core Functions

  • Partner with Executives and People Managers to manage and iterate the existing competency based performance review model (Growth Frameworks) and create new Frameworks, when necessary.
  • Review comments on Growth Frameworks and ensure People Managers are providing feedback to employees continuously throughout the year.
  • Address performance related inquiries and/or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Create and execute learning strategies and programs; collaborate with leadership to ensure buy-in.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations around individual and organizational development needs.
  • Recommend training content for People Managers on foundational management skills, best practices for performance reviews, etc.
  • Work closely with the broader HR team on performance concerns and tracking employees on Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).
  • Design and publish learning modules (in-person and online) and course material.
  • Facilitate training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques (classroom and virtual).
  • Manage learning projects end-to-end; from pre-training analysis to post-training evaluation.
  • Measure the effectiveness of training initiatives, evaluating the results and implementing enhancements.
  • Oversee management of performance systems.
  • Continuously look for ways to enhance the performance system as it relates to learning & development strategies.
  • Lead DE&I program management, in partnership with Leadership and external Consulting Agencies, and manage the DE&I committee in their facilitation of inclusion-related activities including regular meetings, planning and assistance with organizing internal and external initiatives and/or training.
  • Stay informed and educated on diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and share relevant information with the HR team and Leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and 5 years of progressive L&D experience, or any combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Ability to build rapport with employees, leadership, and vendors.
  • Experience in a fast paced SaaS environment.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • General knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.

Compensation

Peaksware is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Colorado is $75,331 - $125,552. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment that is well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned with adequate ventilation and a noise level that is usually moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
