We are looking for our next Learning and Development Specialist as we accelerate our growth journey. The Learning and Development Specialist will design, develop and implement programs to help individuals, teams, and Brooks achieve success.
What you'll do:
- Identify development needs; conduct needs assessments to determine the training needs of employees and the organization.
- Develop materials: Design and develop training materials such as toolkits and multimedia presentations.
- Facilitating sessions for employees, either in-person or virtually, and providing coaching and feedback.
- Evaluate programs: Measure the effectiveness of training programs by gathering feedback from participants and analyzing training outcomes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that training materials and programs are accurate and up to date.
- Monitoring training compliance: Ensuring that training programs are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Consult with SMEs on design of content.
- Act as the LMS administrator: Set up and assign online content.
What you'll bring:
- Someone with new ideas, technologies, and ways of thinking to help drive our future.
- 3-5 years of Talent and Development/Organizational Development/HR related experience
- Degree in Business or Education
- Experience in training and development, instructional design, or adult education.
- Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design principles.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using training software and learning management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- International and multicultural experience a plus; ability to work with all levels of employees, from entry level to executive.
