A rapidly growing, entrepreneurial technology company, Alarm.com is seeking a Training Program Lead to join the Alarm.com Training Team. In this role you will oversee all ongoing education, both technical and non-technical, for our support call center. The ideal candidate is well versed in technology, enthusiastic, enjoys building relationships, and excels in an ever-changing environment. The role is responsible for the entire learner journey after initial onboarding for our technical support staff who primarily deliver phone and written support to our product installation partners.

By working with a variety of stakeholders you’ll identify what makes a successful support staff team member and outline the program learner objectives to create an ongoing education experience that helps people advance their careers.

Job Duties

  • Develop long-term program goals which uphold the organizational standards of satisfaction, quality and performance. Adjust goals to meet the strategic direction of the organization
  • Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources and timing for new initiatives
  • Oversee project work and manage project teams for optimal return-on-investment and coordinate / delegate project initiatives
  • Facilitate and deliver learning content
  • Work with invested parties to identify requirements, risks, opportunities and potential hurtles to include in project plans
  • Oversee and maintain program documentation including procedures. Develop an operating plan and audit cycle
  • Meet with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals. Present to various audiences and cater program content to be relevant for them
  • Manage competing resources and priorities while designing content that meets business goals and shapes the learner experience
  • Communicate project status, issues and decisions in an easy and transparent format
  • Use evaluation methods to properly review and assess program outcomes to determine any areas of improvement or ways to improve efficiency
  • Develop action plans to implement change based on identified trends and system improvements
  • Build, analyze and evaluate program reporting that tracks key program outcomes. Share with relevant stakeholders in a comprehensive way
  • Be a subject matter expert in the Alarm.com platform, partner tools, hardware and supporting technology

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in training/facilitation
  • Works effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment, across departments
  • Effectively deals with ambiguity and takes action without every detail present
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and Webinar Platforms
  • Experience with designing training programs and curriculums
  • Well versed in instructional design, training methodologies, and competency assessments
