CaterTrax is currently seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for managing the organization's internal and external learning and development strategies. This position will develop custom CaterTrax content in a variety of different media forms for internal and external organizational needs with input and guidance from several cross functional teams. This position will also serve as the subject matter expert for all organizational learning services offered.

Job Description:

• Manages the learning and development strategies for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborates with the Product Innovation and Go To Market teams to identify, scope, and implement content updates or the development of new content.
• Manages the organization's internal and external learning assets:
• Develops content topic outlines and content plans.
• Collaborates with different team subject matter experts on gathering requirements for content topics.
• Facilitates the collection of raw content from subject matter experts. Refines/updates/edits raw content.
• Finalizes content; develops exercises to test for learning and quality of delivery as required.
• Collects and evaluates internal and external feedback on trainings and provides and/or implements suggestions.
• Works with the Product Innovation team to understand new feature impact on existing trainings. Develops update/maintenance plans for existing trainings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure process documentation is accurate and up to date for new and existing employees and external delivery partners.
• Partners with Director of HR on internal learning and development for all roles.
• Participates in team meetings, understands team priorities, and offers suggestions/solutions for process improvements.
• Remains current on learning & development trends and provides thought leadership.
• Maintains an inventory of common and custom learning assets.
• Implements governance processes to manage the learning asset lifecycle.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required
• 3 to 5 years' experience in a Learning and Development role (Instructional Design is a plus)
• Project Management experience is a plus.
• Adobe Captivate certification (preferred)
• Instructional Designer Certification (preferred)
