Job Description

As a Learning and Development Specialist for the Payment Operations team, you will play a vital role toward Melio’s service delivery of our payment processing. Working within the Payment Operations team, you will have an exciting opportunity to design, build, and implement a cohesive and comprehensive payment services and recovery up-skill program for our colleagues on the Payment Operations team. Utilizing in-depth knowledge of B2B payments practices, you will build strong relationships throughout the Payment Operations teams in order to continuously and consistently assess L&D needs, identify gaps, and provide/deploy effective development solutions. You will also collaborate with fellow Enablement colleagues, as well as work with a variety of other areas within the company. You may also have the opportunity to broaden the process documentation program to other areas of Payment Operations as the need arises.

How you'll make an impact:  

  • Document and own a robust library of L1, L2 and L3 desk instructions for all payment operational processes and counter-party inquiries
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and improve payment operations process documentation in order to best meet end-user needs.
  • Maintain strong understanding of payment operational processes in order to keep training materials and content current and accurate.
  • Partner with Payment Operations leadership to execute strategic roadmaps that support a continuous learning environment
  • Work with our enablement organization to create learning journeys that up-skill the Payment Operations team
  • Develop and implement training programs across payment operations and throughout company
  • Build and maintain effective relationships to ensure universal standards of training and content delivery with Enablement stakeholders.
  • Develop and provide systems training as appropriate to payment operations colleagues.

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Operations experience preferred

  • Ability to think critically and use a broad range of complex information to identify recommendations and solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively, building relationships with associates at multiple levels and to focus on achieving results.
  • Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication skills to effectively conduct needs assessments and convey important information.
  • Project management and problem-solving skills to facilitate timely completion of simultaneous projects both independently and with others.

Compensation, Benefits and Perks:

  • Basic Compensation: $85,000 - $105,000
