Learning Delivery Manager
OVERVIEW:
Skillsoft's Professional Services team provides world-class, value-add services that enable our customers to maximize the impact of their learning investment. We do this through the strategic utilization of content, technology and learning and development methodologies that drive business results.
We are currently seeking a Learning Delivery Manager who will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Learning Delivery team including workload distribution, people management and development, and customer satisfaction of the services provided by the Delivery team. The Learning Delivery Manager is knowledgeable in all aspects of the roles within the team, including L&D consulting, learning administration, product and portfolio management, marketing, and Skillsoft products and platforms. In addition, the position acts as a resource to other members of the Skillsoft team in all areas related to Professional Services. Excellent communication and organizational skills are also required. This position will also be responsible for some delivery of project-based work within the Professional Services group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Directly supervise the Professional Services Learning Delivery team, including directing their professional development.
• Train team members in all aspects of their job roles, including delivering services and internal processes such as time tracking.
• Serve as subject matter expert on Professional Services functions and processes.
• Participate in client and field calls as needed to represent the Professional Services group.
• Design, document and implement work processes to improve group operational efficiencies.
• Ensure all required documentation for both individual projects and team operations is created and maintained.
• Ensure all projects are delivered in accordance with the project scope and to the quality standards required.
• Establish and maintain quality processes to ensure deliverables are accurate, professional and meet the needs of the customer.Â
• Meet or exceed the goals of the department by effectively communicating its mission to employees and ensuring the execution thereof.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Skillsoft products and services.
• Ensure all client-based and internal requests/projects/inquiries are responded to correctly and expeditiously.
• Conceptual understanding of all Skillsoft content libraries and platforms.
Leadership/Experience Profile:
• University degree in education, business, computer science, or a combination of post-secondary education and related experience.
• Demonstratable experience of relationship management experience in related field.
• Experience in managing a team in a fast-paced work environment.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Expertise in the learning industry; experienced learning practitioner.
• Knowledge of talent management and key organizational learning initiatives such as leadership development, management development, and professional development.
• Expert knowledge in competency framework, needs assessments, and ability to advise clients on learning solutions based on Skillsoft content/platform.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
• Ability to flex schedule to participate in global meetings.

• Excellent communication/facilitation skills and diplomatic problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management, time management and organizational skills, an ability to perform under pressure.
• Team player and a strong relationship builder.
