Learning & Development Principal

As a Principal of Learning and Development, you will be working with all PMGers to develop strategies, design programs, deliver best-in-class development programs, and leverage data and insights to design learning opportunities at scale. Your influence ranges from our most senior executives to new joiners right out of college. You will be a thought leader, leading the strategy and development of programs from the ground up.

• You have experience leading and transforming development efforts and initiatives, at scale, across business segments/functions 
• You can connect dots between functions and bring stakeholders and partners together to align and collaborate 
• You can build in-person learning opportunities as well as digital, user-centric experiences that help PMGers demonstrate the skills and behaviors needed for now and the future  
• You are agile, flexible, and able to change direction with rapidly evolving business 
• You can make sense of large amounts of data and translate data points into measurable, tangible actions to improve experience 
• You thrive in complexity and ambiguity and see a rapidly changing environment as an opportunity to make a difference
• You can design experiences that help PMGers build a lasting career at PMG 
• You have strong business acumen and the ability to think systematically and holistically 
• You can empathize with and influence business leaders who have strong passions around development programs as well as those who do not instinctively allocate time and energy to development  
• You have great listening skills, critical thinking skills, and solution-articulation skills 
• You have an unquenchable thirst for learning and are a student of the business – constantly curious 
• You can communicate effectively with executive leadership and all levels of the organization. 

You’ll make an impact by… 

• Developing development strategies by evaluating business needs and desired outcomes; serving as a subject matter expert; evaluating the business impact of different approaches; overseeing experimentation and testing and evaluating the results; providing guidance and direction regarding outcomes; leading relationships with key business partners to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood; and ensuring feedback is reviewed and incorporated into future plans and strategies. 
• Mentor and coach team members; assigning and overseeing tasks as necessary; and reviewing and approving recommended solutions. 
• Cultivating an environment where PMGers respect and adhere to company standards of integrity, accountability, and leadership by integrating these values into programs and practices 
• Bringing a subject matter expertise or opinion/thought to all you do to help PMG continue to scale and grow 
• Be an advocate for development programs at every level, driving understanding of the value added to PMG through this development 

Skills & Experience 

• 8+ years of related work experience 
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously 
• High level of emotional intelligence 
• Strong team player 
• Ability to influence key stakeholders
