Learning & Development Specialist
Job Description
Cambria's Learning & Development Specialist will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, facilitating and evaluating learning programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our employees. This position requires a passion for employee development, a strong understanding of sales skills, processes and methodologies, and the ability to align learning initiatives with the company's strategic goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The Learning and Development Specialist will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, facilitating and evaluating learning programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our employees
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to identify learning and development needs, both at an individual and organizational level, to support the growth and success of Cambria
- Coordinates and conducts training sessions, workshops, and seminars, leveraging both internal subject matter experts and external resources, as needed
- Development and execution of Cambria's sales training program to include virtual content, classroom content and field training
- Observing adult learning principles and practices, supports development of sales training content through close alignment with Cambria's Sales Leadership
- Collaborate with field sales leadership to identify and execute on key strategic productivity and development initiatives for field employees
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through assessments, surveys, and other feedback mechanisms, and continuously improves programs based on the feedback received
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and other relevant metrics to track the impact and effectiveness of learning programs
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the company's business, processes and sales-centric approach, with a focus on Cambria's values
- Evaluate and modify future programs to better meet the needs of Cambria
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
- Knowledge of sales skills, processes and methodologies and/or previous sales experience
- Proven work experience as a trainer, training facilitator and/or coordination of multiple training events
- Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize projects and deadlines and clearly communicate status, progress, and constraints with management, teammates, and stakeholders
- Ability to determine training objectives and provide learning recommendations, select training aids, etc.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with cross functional teams in a multi-faceted environment
- Problem solving skills
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in learning and development, preferably within the manufacturing industry or related field
Systems: Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Workday Learning and Salesforce

Manages People: No
Travel Requirements: 20%
