The Training and Development Specialist drives operational excellence through the deployment and execution of training and development programs. The specialist ensures consistency of training delivery by assisting with training methods, materials, and classroom operation through on-site and remote delivery methods. The specialist promotes a continuous improvement culture through the identification of gaps and opportunities in materials, methods, and technology.

The Training and Development Specialist drives operational excellence through the deployment and execution of training and development programs. The specialist ensures consistency of training delivery by assisting with training methods, materials, and classroom operation through on-site and remote delivery methods. The specialist promotes a continuous improvement culture through the identification of gaps and opportunities in materials, methods, and technology.
Your Responsibilities:
- Partner with management, stakeholders, and SME's to design and develop training materials, content, curriculum, and resources.
- Lead the successful creation and execution of learning and development content within the LMS system, Paycom.
- Assist in the evaluation of training effectiveness and recommend solutions to identified gaps.
- Identify and coordinate cost effective 3rd party training and development in line with organizational strategy.
- Document required compliance training per defined process.
- Stay up to date with training techniques and industry training resources.
- Act as a facilitator or serve as a consultant to SME facilitators.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Your Profile
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field required.
- At least two years' experience documenting, creating, and facilitating training and development programs; manufacturing environment preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Talent Development Certification (CPLP) a plus.
- Understanding of adult learning theory, ADDIE model, and best practices in blended learning environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of organizational learning and development practices and trends.
- Ability to think creatively in producing entertaining and educational learning content.
- Engaging presentation skills, with demonstrated excellence in conducting and facilitating training.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Demonstrated knowledge of LMS capabilities and configuration.
- Completion of training programs as assigned and/or required including standard of work.
