Learning & Development Sr. Associate/Developer Contact- Remote Eligible Summary:
The LPD Senior Associate will support the development and implementation of training-related business initiatives. This includes working closely with the LPD Manager and key stakeholders in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the business's learning curriculum. Primary responsibilities include planning training courses and conferences, consulting with subject matter experts on the design and development of courses and curriculum, preparing status reports, updates and communications, assisting others through the development and implementation process for each training program, reviewing the effectiveness of the facilitators and programs being offered, creating and executing project plans for course development and the launch of courses in the learning management system. The LPD Senior Associate will also work on special projects related to the LOB learning strategy.
This position will work closely with broader LPD team to ensure one firm needs are addressed (consistency across LOB, as appropriate), as well as leveraging instructional design and technological solutions. Coordination with various departments and other resources within the organization will be required as well.
Essential Duties:
Responsible for creating and executing a project plan for assigned courses including the development of timelines in sufficient detail to meet established deadlines including the launch of courses in the learning management system and peer review process. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. This includes, but not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for creating and executing a project plan for the development of course materials.
- Collaborate with the business partner team to create a project plan to ensure the development of course materials.
- Ensure the course meets NASBA requirements.
- Resolve and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for reviewing course and/or program evaluations, update records, and bring issues, concerns, and recommendations to the business partner teams.
- Maintain and conduct preliminary analysis of key metrics (status reports).
- Reviews recordkeeping to ensure compliance standards for CPE.
- Ensure documentation for course development and technical reviews are complete and filed.
- Instructor, course developer, and technical reviewer biographies are obtained and filed.
- Serves as LPD consultant and advisor to leaders, subject matter experts, course owners, and developers to define curriculum maps and course content.
- Observes training, reviews facilitator and program evaluations. Summarizes, provides feedback and offers creative solutions for enhancements, as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Degree in communications, education, instructional design, human resource development, or related area; master's degree; CPA a plus
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
Required:
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Two to three years of client service experience in (or supporting) Assurance, Tax or Consulting
- Practical knowledge of training implementation and employee development
- Managing projects and stakeholders
- Client service and issue resolution
- Compiling and reviewing data to make business decisions
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
Required:
- Ability to work with individuals from multiple levels within the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, plan project timelines, and lead projects to completion
