Minimum Salary:114,478.00Maximum Salary:154,882.00
Salary offers will be made within the posted range. Placement within the range will be determined based on your similar work experience. The Port considers work experience to be similar if the scope and level of responsibility of your prior positions match the job being offered.
Some of what you'll be doing:
As the Learning & Leadership Program Manager, you will be responsible for collaboratively leading the design and implementation of the organizationâs leadership development strategy and programs.
⢠You will partner with all levels of the organization to build a leadership development strategy addressing key goals and objectives, delivery, evaluation, and overall program management.
⢠You will deliver leadership development programs including the current internal leadership development program (LINK Leadership) and facilitate and manage leadership cohorts and other programs.
⢠You will work as a member of a group of learning designers and facilitators who provide a suite of programs that address employee onboarding, manager development, career, and leadership development, diversity & inclusion, and Talent Acquisition, and Emerging Talent.
⢠You will contribute to and enhance existing programsâ focus on equity, the Portâs diverse and changing workforce, and the region.
⢠You will provide leaders and managers with training and guidance on PerformanceLink, the Portâs performance management process, including goal setting, performance support and improvement, and employee development.
⢠You will partner with other Human Resources departments to identify and respond to workforce challenges and opportunities that arise.
⢠You will develop project plans identifying detailed scope of services, set of consulting and other resources needed, and project timeline with milestones. #ZR
Who you are:
⢠Experiencedâ You have five (5) years of experience in talent development and training program management.

⢠Facilitatorâ You have strong facilitation and presentation skills and can navigate both meetings and classroom delivery for diverse audiences of varying sizes and to all levels of employees, including executives. You can lead/facilitate meetings and adjust communication style to the audience.
⢠Program/Project Managerâ You can strategically plan, organize, and coordinate programs with multiple, concurrent priorities. You can adapt approaches in response to changing environments, different perspectives, needs, and demands.
⢠Organizedâ You agilely prioritize activities and resources and coordinate input from internal and external partners.
What else you need to know:
⢠Work Scheduleâ Your normal work schedule will be Monday â Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Slightly more flexible start and end times are available in this role. You will occasionally be required to work swing, and graveyard shifts for presentations to staff during those shifts.
⢠Work Environment- This work will take place in a hybrid/in-office setting at Managementâs discretion. You will travel between Port locations delivering programs both in-person and virtually.
⢠Washington State Residency Requirementâ Employees must establish a residence in Washington state within 30 days of their first day of employment and must maintain a residence in Washington State during their employment with the Port of Seattle. If a position is eligible to telework, work performed while teleworking must be performed in Washington State.
⢠Security Requirementsâ As the successful candidate, you must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check as well as a criminal history background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Your employment will be contingent upon obtaining a Port of Seattle ID badge upon clearance.
