The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for facilitating and supporting the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of Learning & Development programs. This position will administer training and learning programs for designated groups both in person and virtually, applying effective training methodologies and learning theory.

Base compensation for position: $90,000 - $120,000

Location Information
Unless otherwise specified, this role has the option to be hybrid or remote. Hybrid work locations provide team members with the flexibility of working partially from our Denver or DC office and from home. Remote team members must live and work in the United States* (*territories excluded), and have access to reliable, high-speed internet.

The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for facilitating and supporting the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of Learning & Development programs. This position will administer training and learning programs for designated groups both in person and virtually, applying effective training methodologies and learning theory.
How You'll Do It
Content Delivery
- Facilitate development and skill building through exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
- Conduct training sessions in-person and virtually.
- Follow up with stakeholders post-training to measure effectiveness of training sessions. Report on impact of training programs.
- Provide support to other Pie-oneers who train in the organization to build and deliver effective trainings.
Program Management
- Manage the development, implementation, iteration, and measurement of L&D programs such as new hire orientation and onboarding, leadership development, and other training programs.
- Report on results and impact of the programs on the organization.
- Maintain project documentation and course folders.
Curriculum Design
- Conduct training needs analyses to determine solutions to talent gaps.
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content.
- Build curriculums that use visual instructional graphics, have aesthetically pleasing user interfaces and meet the functionality needed for the finished product.
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc).
The Right Stuff
- High School Diploma or GED Required. Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3+ years training facilitation, instructional design, curriculum development and/or learning and development
- Advanced communication skills: ability to communicate effectively to variety of audiences in both written and verbal form, deliver complex information or new concepts in a manner conducive to learning
- Robust understanding of various learning and development methodologies
- Developed problem solving skills: able to manage tasks varying in complexity and work through to solutions with little guidance and direction
- Strong interpersonal skills and cross-team collaboration
- Working knowledge of G-Suite Tools, Collaboration tools (Slack is preferred), and learning management systems
- Project management skills: ability to run a project from start to finish with minimal guidance
Base compensation for position: $90,000 - $120,000
