To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, our Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide - making the impossible happen every single day!

As a North America Operations and Logistics Learning and Development Intern, you will explore and evaluate learning experiences supporting Nike's North America Distribution Centers, marketplace operations, transportation operations, and leadership onboarding and development. You will work closely with logistics and other business experts to evaluate, conceptualize, design, and develop highly interactive learning solutions that are aligned to the needs of our business, target learning objectives to improve the team's performance. You will conduct analysis to determine the effective impact of Virtual Reality (VR) technology versus Augmented Reality (AR) technology to elevate learning solutions in a distribution center. You will act as a liaison and collaborate with our business partners and/or consultants in the evaluation, exploration or the creation of VR/AR learning solutions. You will apply effective needs analysis, impact assessments, project management, and evaluation skills to make recommendations of the use of VR/AR technology. You will determine the learning impacts and outcomes and make suggestions for the appropriate method of learning delivery and accessibility

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with an anticipated graduation date of December 2023 or Spring 2024
  • Experience in Learning, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Engineering, Design/Development or related fields. Design Thinking skills/knowledge: ADDIE, SAM, Kirkpatrick, etc.
  • Understanding of visual/graphic design principles (3D animation and modeling, etc)
  • Computer programming skills (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc)
  • Understanding of good UX design principles
  • Strong team orientation
