Leave of Absence Specialist
Job Description
Job Summary: Oversees and administers Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Non FMLA leave request in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.Coordinates the FMLA/non-FMLA leave and disability process for eligible employees and ensures all applicable deadlines are met. Responsible for manual data entry to process termination records in system of record.
Qualifications: Associates degree required with emphasis in business administration, office management or closely related field. Minimum of three years experience in human resources required; strongly prefer direct experience in leave administration. Knowledge of FMLA required. Effective oral and written communication skills required. Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and customer service skills required. Good organizational and prioritizing skills required. Considerable knowledge of computer software applications including word-processing and database applications required.
