Job Summary
As a Leave Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various types of employee leaves, including federal Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), state-specific, and company-specific leaves. Your role will involve analyzing and securing information to make informed decisions about leave eligibility, resolving discrepancies, and tracking ongoing leave cases. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, communicating decisions, and ensuring accurate documentation. This role requires a balance of independent judgment and effective teamwork to handle complex leave issues and maintain compliance with statutory regulations.
Skills and Background You’ll Need

Must have:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of general office and customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Working knowledge of FMLA, statutory, and company-specific leaves.

Preferred:
- Experience in leave, benefits, or disability claim management.
- Ability to work in a team environment and handle confidential information with sensitivity.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.

Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
Salary Range:
19.00 - 24.40
