Job Summary
In this role, you will manage the complexities of certified and reported leaves, including FMLA and state-specific leaves. You will secure and analyze information to make eligibility determinations, track leave status, and communicate effectively with employees and employers. Your focus will be on providing responsive and caring service, resolving issues, and ensuring timely decisions. You’ll also support less-experienced team members through approvals, training, and sharing expertise on leave regulations.
- Analyze eligibility for leave (30% of time)
- Communicate leave decisions and resolve inquiries (40% of time)
- Train and support team members (20% of time)
- Manage documentation and discrepancies (10% of time)
- Ability to work independently with little supervision is a requirement of the role. *
Skills and Background You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of leave, benefits, or disability claim management experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with FMLA and state-specific leave regulations
- Experience in a fast-paced office environment

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.

Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
Salary Range:
19.00 - 25.48
