Job Brief:

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer who has passion for modern and artful web design, a love of problem-solving, and an exceptional eye for detail. This position is unique because of the wide range of projects you’ll have the opportunity to work on. While the focus is on creating bespoke, functional design interfaces, you may also contribute to other design projects as needed.
 

Responsibilities:

• Design a modern engaging site leveraging the GUIDEcx branding in Wordpress
• Create visual design assets for other digital media, such as banner ads, storyboards, social media graphics, and more
• Contribute to User Experience planning processes
• Work with our internal team, clients, and vendors in a collaborative setting
• Present design composites to internal stakeholders for feedback and approval
• Effectively manage time and concurrent design efforts

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 5+ years of responsive and interaction design experience
• Expert knowledge of UI and UX tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite programs (XD, Photoshop and Illustrator), Figma, and Sketch
• Experience working with content management systems and hosted platforms such as WordPress and Shopify
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Bachelor’s degree in visual design or relevant expertise
• Strong portfolio of web and digital design work
• Comfortable working as part of a busy team; agency experience preferred
