Job Description
Gunderson Dettmer has an opening for a Legal Administrative Assistant in our Silicon Valley office. The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide a wide range of hands-on and virtual administrative support to attorneys and paralegals working in our Silicon Valley office.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of administrative, document production, organizational, research and client support/contact duties.
- Create, format, revise and edit legal documents.
- Document handling, including printing, scanning, copying and filing.
- Assist with attorney time entry, calendar management, new client intake, travel arrangements and expense reimbursements.
- Organize and maintain filing in accordance with firm procedures and standards.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years of legal administrative assistant or legal secretary experience in corporate law.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and document conversion applications, such as Nuance Power PDF or Adobe.
- Experience working with HP/Autonomy iManage or other document management system.
- Excellent interpersonal, written (grammar, spelling, format) and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and demonstrate a team-oriented work style.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively handle shifting priorities and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and reasoning abilities.
- Adherence to maintaining confidential and sensitive information and display sound judgment
- Ability to work overtime.
- California Notary
Educational Requirements
- BS/BA degree.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Status
- Full Time, Non-Exempt.
The expected starting salary for this position is $70,000 - $95,000 annually, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
