Legal Assistant

What You Will Be Doing:
Support Law Department attorneys and paralegals by managing the matter management system and acting as a liaison between business partners and the legal team. This position is responsible for initiating, updating, and maintaining legal and litigation matters within the system, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and facilitating efficient communication and workflow. Key responsibilities include managing legal and litigation processes, organizing and retrieving documents, and providing general administrative support to the legal team.

- Excellent Multi-tasking skill
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with legal research tools
- Ability to gain proficiency in matter management systems and other legal software
- Critical thinking skills to navigate complex legal documentation and processes
- Collaborative work style within a legal team
- Strong customer service orientation
- Understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive information
- Time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
