About the opportunity
Ontra is seeking a Legal Community Specialist to join our Legal Partnerships team.
Reporting to the Legal Community Manager, this person will be responsible for the success and engagement of our law firm users by developing and managing an ongoing interaction model that encourages mutual contribution and continuous feedback, and supports a sustainable, vibrant lawyer community. The role is a great opportunity to support the Community function and the global Legal Partnerships team by nurturing a positive partnership between Ontra and our EMEA-based legal partners.

What you’ll do
- Build a virtual community: Design and implement programs that support lawyer engagement and satisfaction, such as mentor programs, awards, events, and webinars
- Advocacy: become a trusted advisor and advocate for the EMEA legal communityÂ
- Feedback management: Work with the global Community team to track and report on all legal community feedback in EMEA; surface key issues to relevant stakeholders in the organisation and iterate on solutions and messaging
- User experience research: Conduct biannual and new law firm Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys for EMEA population; coordinate with Product on in-app feedback channels and lawyer focus groups for new products and features
- Onboarding: Ensure a fast and seamless onboarding experience for all community members in collaboration with the Legal Resourcing & Partnership Growth teams
What you’ll bring
- Experience: 2+ years of community management work, ideally in the legal, financial services, or technology industries
- Credentials: Google suite, Salesforce, Survey Monkey, and/or NPS survey experience preferred
- Empathetic & Interpersonal Communicator: You treat every lawyer with kindness and respect, value their time, and are mindful of their off-platform commitments; your high EQ allows you to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals
- Leadership & Organisational Excellence: Ability to inspire and motivate our diverse, global network of legal partners; can operate easily in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment, identify issues quickly, and propose solutions with minimal supervision
- Analytical: You make smart, data-driven decisions
- Prioritisation: You are adept at managing multiple programs simultaneously

Pay transparency
Ontra publishes salary ranges on our salary board here: http://bit.ly/3UjAOE3, which currently includes estimated annual cash salary ranges for candidates based in Colorado and New York City, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Ontra leverages current market data to determine compensation, so posted figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
Ontra factors in your location when benchmarking compensation for most roles. If you are not located in Colorado or New York City and have been selected to participate in our interview process, we encourage you to speak with your recruiter about compensation for the role during an initial conversation.
In addition to cash salary, the total compensation package Ontra offers includes unit-based compensation (if applicable). Certain roles in our sales and account management departments may also be eligible to receive variable compensation or commission.
