Legal Content Intern

LEAP leads the world in the development and sale of cloud-based legal practice management software for small law firms on a Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

We employ more than 1000 people globally, have offices in the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK with more than 12,000 law firms using our software worldwide. Our Content team is seeking a Summer intern to join our highly motivated, high velocity team based in our Jersey City office.

This will be a 8 week internship program (30 hours a week), running from June 19th - August 11th. Interns are required to work in our Jersey City office from Monday - Thursday. Pay rate will be $17/hr.

OVERVIEW

At LEAP, the Content team shapes the success of our business and sets us apart from our competitors.

In this role, you will work closely with our Content team to tailor our world-class software to meet the needs of users in different jurisdictions. You will be assisting the Content team with a wide variety of projects that require a high level of attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience with high volume data entry, data validation, coding, and software design.

Some specific tasks include:

• Assist with validating and updating area of law data fields for LEAP Clients on support.
• Assist with the maintenance of LEAP's library of forms by reviewing and cataloging alerts.
• Assist with database calculation testing.
• Shadow different members of the team to assist on relevant projects.
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

Desirable qualities:

• Experience using document automation in Microsoft Word or another software provider.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or another programming language.
