About This Role

PrizePicks is looking for a Legal Coordinator to help support PrizePicks’ legal, compliance, and government affairs departments on matters such as administrative and event support, general administration, and special project assignments.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Administrative and event support for Legal and Government Affairs: This person will provide support and increase team capacity by utilizing the tools available to complete administrative duties, project assignments, and additional assignments including planning our presence at events such as NASCAR sponsorships.
  • General administrative duties: Editing documents, state report filing, invoicing support and billing, completing regulatory check requests, travel and expense reporting, and meeting coordination.
  • Project assignments: Complete specific projects assigned by manager or Legal/Government Affairs teams. Additional assignments as identified by the manager.
  • Maintain contract management system
  • Maintain legal files, research and corporate legal and government affairs databases.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of office experience preferably with a background in the legal field
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, the ability to work with others and possesses a desire to learn and grow professionally
  • Uses initiative and discretion to accomplish routine assignments with minimum supervision.
  • Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, be very organized, be able to manage multiple files at once, and have above average communication skills.
  • Ability to be resourceful and self-sufficient is important.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, early-stage start-up environment is critical.
