Legal Counsel

3Commas is looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal Team. The role is full time and based in Tallinn, Estonia.

As a Legal Counsel, you will:

• Ensure compliance with global privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and assist in developing data protection policies.
• Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with industry laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.
• Advise on corporate law matters, including entity formation, governance, and corporate structuring.
• Offer legal support on employment law issues, including drafting employment agreements, policies, and handling workplace matters.
• Identify legal risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, Finance, and Product) to provide tailored legal guidance.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (in-house or law firm), internships excluded.
• Strong understanding of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Experience with ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and understanding corporate law principles.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR-related legal issues.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
