Position: Legal Counsel

NICE Actimize is currently seeking a mid-level attorney to join our team as Legal Counsel. This role will report to the General Counsel and will provide legal advice and assistance to all aspects of NICE Actimize’s business, with emphasis on SaaS sales and software licensing.

NICE Actimize’s Legal Team works cross-functionally to help achieve NICE’s mission of transforming experiences to be extraordinary and trusted. We are a tight-knit, collaborative legal team responsible for supporting NICE Actimize’s global business, and are looking for a rock star technology attorney to join our fast paced legal team as Legal Counsel.  The successful candidate will be a team player who brings a business-oriented, pragmatic mindset to solving problems while delivering services and solutions that promote company growth and provide value across the organization. This is a great opportunity to help directly contribute to NICE Actimize’s growth as an industry SaaS leader. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of business and legal issues while focusing on individual growth and development. Experience with SaaS, data privacy laws and other enterprise software licensing business models is a must, as well as having excellent drafting skills. This position will in hybrid mode affiliated with NICE’s Hoboken office in NJ.

Primary Responsibilities

• Leading the negotiation of outbound sales transactions between NICE Actimize and its global financial institution customers and business partners
• Supporting inbound procurement-related transactions between NICE Actimize and its suppliers
• Collaborating with NICE Actimize’s InfoSec and Compliance teams on data privacy/security initiatives/issues

Experience

• JD from an accredited law school, and admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. state bar
• Minimum of 5-8 years of legal experience, including time spent working in an in-house legal department, with at least 2 of those years focused on the negotiation of SaaS/enterprise software licensing transactions
