Legal Counsel

The Role:

Nothing is looking for a passionate Legal Counsel to take responsibility for the UK, EU & USA. You will help define and develop our legal operations, issues and strategy, working closely and reporting into the General Counsel in our HQ in London.

You will operate with autonomy and within the international team and be excited to take on new tasks and projects in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in working with Hardware and/or Software for consumer focussed companies is highly advantageous. You will demonstrate exceptional commercial acumen, as well as high attention to detail and are able to contribute to a growing and talented finance and legal team. Responsibilities:

• Legal advice and research on laws and regulations
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of global manufacture, procurement, sales, and other business-related contracts
• Drafting of guidelines, policies and templates
• Review of marketing materials and marketing campaigns
• Communication with Regulatory Authorities
• Coordination of disputes and claims, including managing external counsel
• Support in promoting the Compliance Program
• Support and advice to the finance, tax, sales and HR department
• Liaise with the other regional legal team
• Further develop the Legal & Compliance Department

Requirements:

• Qualified to practise law in UK or Hong Kong, with Mandarin/ Cantonese language skills 
• Demonstrable experience practising law relating to general corporate with a reputable law firm in UK, Hong Kong or US
  • 3-5 Years PQE
• Experience on smartphone and/or consumer electronics is preferred
• Report to the General Counsel, working on site in the London HQ 5 days per week
